Crocodilian

Meet Gordon (Top Right), Bubba (Middle Right) and Schlinder (Bottom Right).

Gordon is a Spectacled Caiman (Caiman crocodilus) only a youngster, reaching a mere 40 cm (at the moment!). As you can see from his belly, he's eating well and doing fine. He was removed from a block of flats where he was kept without a DWA license. Gordon now lives in a 1 meter (3ft) by 60cm (2ft) vivarium with a small pond.

Bubba is a Mississippi alligator (Alligatoridae mississippiensis) he is currently just over 1.5meter (4ft) long and weighs a little over 4 Kg He is about 3 years of age, and is beginning to lose his juvenile markings.

Schlinder is a Schneider's Dwarf Caiman (Paleosuchus trigonatus) he is currently 1.3 meters long and weighs 7.5 Kg we think that he is about 10 years old from what the previous owner told us but cannot be positive.
Both Bubba and Schlinder now live in enclosures 4.5 meters by 2.5 meters. Both are very healthy and feeding well.

Due to the nature of these creatures, it is our policy not to rehome animals under the DWA act to the general public. We have however, placed such animals within other large animal institutions such as safari parks and zoos.
