The lizard to the right is a water dragon. We see these coming in to the center with nose rub on a regular basis. Water dragons have a problem with transparent boundaries so they often rub the nose going back and forth along the glass. This particular one is probably the worst that we have seen, his whole bottom jaw bone is exposed, and it does not seem to phase his feeding. He has to have a deep base in his vivarium so he can not see out of the glass when he is on the floor. He is doing fine but the skin will never grow over. For those of you who are worried about their water dragon rubbing its nose or prevent it from getting worse, just cover the first six inches from the bottom of the glass with newspaper.
