Courses
Following the success of the courses previously conducted by Proteus, we are now able to offer these courses again during 2008.

Who are the courses designed for?
The courses are designed for anyone with a general interest in keeping reptiles, as well as the animal care worker and veterinary nurse etc. No prior knowledge or experience is required in order to attend the lower level courses (1 & 2), although successful completion of level 2 is a minimum requirement for entry onto level 3. Please note minimum age of 16 years applies to all courses.

How does the accreditation work?
Any course attendee wishing to obtain the qualification will have to register as a student with teh examining board. At the present time, the course is undergoing accreditation with another examining body. Once approval has been confirmed, students will then be registered and certificates awarded upon successful completion of the course assignments. Two post course assignments will then have to be completed and forwarded to the Proteus office for assessment within a period of 8 weeks following the course

Course venues
The course venues have been chosen so as to provide pleasant and comfortable surroundings whilst keeping the costs to the attendees to a minimum. All rooms are on an individual basis and have en suite bathroom facilities. All meals are taken at the venue with light refreshments being available at convenient periods throughout the day.
The venues can cater for a variety of dietary requirements whilst vegetarian options are always available. Should you have a special dietary requirement please ensure that full details are given on the booking form. Full details of venues will be forwarded with the booking confirmation. |
