Proteus relies on the support of the public and any donations are greatly appreciated.
Donations do not just have to be money, a lot of people send thermostats, UV lights and other equipment it does not mater if it is second hand, it all gets used.
Proteus is also sponsored by company's and individuals, if you think there is anything that you can do to help then please don't hesitate to contact us, it all helps to care for sick and abandon reptiles.

Who can sponsor?
Anyone from a corporation to a cub pack, families, schools, politicians, milkmen,
photographers, executives, vicars, doctors, explorers and you.
What can be sponsored?
We try to find homes for nearly all of the reptiles that come into the centre so you will have the opportunity not to sponsor one reptile but the chance to sponsor a whole species. Or you can sponsor one of our permanent residents.
How much does it cost?
It costs about £200 a day to run the whole of Proteus, and you can help by sponsoring certain species or individuals and contributing to the cost of keeping that reptile.
Sponsorship works on a yearly basis ranging from £20 for Corn Snakes to £40 for the Crocadlian.
What do you get?
You will get a certificate with a photo of the reptile you decide to sponsor. Plus an invitation for you and your family to the centre to meet the reptile you are helping and have a look behind the scenes on our special sponsors day.
